usetext is an online publishing service. for a small monthly fee you can subscribe to and use the usetext service to write, manage, store and publish your dynamic texts.

once subscribed you get a personal database on the usetext server, where you can write, edit and store unlimited (fair-use-policy) amounts of usetexts.

you'll also get a public 'homepage', located at http://usetext.com/users/yourusername, where you can publish your texts.

with each text you can choose window dimensions, margin color and font settings. you'll also find an option to make your text publicly available or not.

in the main text editing mode, a 'WYSIWYG' interface allows you to easily add, delete or edit paragraphs and deeper levels. text can be styled using basic html tags, and the use of images is possible as well. images are uploaded to the usetext server and are stored with your texts.

besides the automatic online publishing on your usetext 'homepage', it is also possible to publish texts that are not dependent on the online service. these files can be downloaded from usetext.com and used on your local hardrive (for presentations, etc.) or hosted on your own webserver.

the usetext admin interface is regularly updated and optimized. subscriptions include all updates at no additional costs.
